Longwalking keeps growing, and we appreciate your interest and support and welcome all our new subscribers. We’re constantly adding stories and articles, focusing on ultralight backpacking solutions and long-trail travel (especially through France and Spain ~ because it’s so much fun over there). Of course, the guiding principals of ultralight walking are the same everywhere. Wander through the Tag Cloud to explore whatever interests you.

You may come upon some missing trail signs or loose shoe laces, but it’s all starting to come together, even as our pack gets lighter – and then a little heavier, and then lighter still – it’s fun turning a hobby into an Obsession.

Among the themes this year, is a new series about our 2011 walks through France and Spain, and we’re already starting to plan the next one in 2013.
